Simply call through to the new files, to maintain
backwards-compatibility.

Set to Unix line endings in repo; the gitattributes file means they
will be converted to suit the user’s system.

And some minor formatting

Also improve comment

Use single loop instead of two.
Also use “metadata.php” as the data file.
